Toxic Slumber

Toxic Slumber

A Poem by Megan

The young dreamer

Has been awoken

From her toxic slumber

A cloudy vision

Of misinterpreted tales

Led her to believe

The songs she'd sing

Were only voids of her imagination

Yet she has awoken

To her so called "fables"

Singing and dancing over her head.

Makes me think of someone waking up with a terrible hangover. I'm sure your original intent was a lot more interesting.

I can't believe how good you are for your age, impressive stuff.

Keep up the good words writer.
