What Money Buys

What Money Buys

A Poem by Megan

Why are we so infatuated with money?

Flimsy pieces of paper

Used to buy nothing but inanimate objects

Money cannot buy brilliance

No matter how hard you try

Money cannot compare to

Ideas

Imagination

Creativity

Or even madness

Money is worthless compared to the infinite complexity of the brain

The mind holds vast acres of thought, brilliance, madness, individuality, and freedom

All still to be discovered

While money is just simply paper, and nothing else.
