Your Memory

Your Memory

A Poem by Megan

Your memory

Comes in like a current

As soon as it descended back into the deep waters

It crashed back onto the shore

Every wave is different

Just like every side of you

I've let your absence remain as a memory

A memory of the tides never to return.

Memories can be like that - good or bad - whatever we choose to remember or let drift away...
