Blinding

Blinding

A Poem by Megan

How is it possible
For one to bring so much light
Into another's world
Completely unaware of their own glow
Your shine seeks through my bedroom blinds
And kisses me good morning
I swim in your ocean blue eyes
Every time I gaze into them
You're blind of your shine
Which is funny because
You say I am too
I guess we're a couple of fools
Blinding each other
With all of the light and love we can give.

I like the theme and the light approach, which makes it more effective.

I love romantic poetry and this is beautiful. There is such a softness to your words that is so appealing. You have penned a sweet and gentle love poem!

This is pleasantly hopeful. I like all the references to light. Well done. I hope you keep writing, this is good.
