Connections In The Sky

I think we often forget

About the simplistic yet mind bending world we live in

Do you ever gaze at the sky

Knowing that it is continous

The empty space beyond us literally never ends

Sometimes I reach out a hand

To whoever may be looking back

Thousands of miles away

There's someone else visioning the same sky as I am

Making a connection with someone

You've never seen

Or never met

Through empty space

Is truly beautiful

And reminds us all

On this lone little planet

We aren't so alone.
