Morning Sun

Morning Sun

A Poem by Megan

I tend to grow jealous of the morning sun seeking through your blinds
Her beams of light shine on your innocent face
The rays soak through your speckled irises
And shine against the window's glass
Wishing her a good morning
I wish I was your heavenly halcyon light
Give me a chance to shine
I promise I can be your morning sun
I know the other side of your bed remains cold
And the sheets remain unwrinkled
Let me fill the spaces your missing
I can shine through your blinds
Don't hide under the covers
Darling, If you give me a chance
I can be your morning sun.

Very interesting poem. It makes me think of song by shania twain. It was on her UP! alum, sadly I do not remember the name of it.
This is a very beautiful poem keep up the good work :)
