Grandma Jean

Grandma Jean

A Poem by Megan

Her laugh still roams through the halls she once walked

Her flowers still bloom, just as they promised her they would

Her family still lives on, just as she wanted them to

Sometimes she'd wear Christmas themed blouses in the middle of June

And spend hours caring for her garden

She never went one day without red lipstick

Or a smile

She left with a small grin on her face

And her love by her side

Now her soul remains like any other angel's would

She can't be seen or felt

But her presence is surely known.
