Laying In Bed

Laying In Bed

A Poem by Megan

Laying in bed in the middle of the day
Silence fills the air
Music flows through my earbuds into my veins
The sun tries to shine in
The blinds won't allow it
I lay here alone
Digging for something bigger than me
Dreaming about things miles out of my reach
I'll make it happen one day
But until then
I'll just lay here in bed.
