Dandelion Petals

Dandelion Petals

A Poem by Megan

From dandelion petals being blown away in the spring
To little snowflakes landing on her eyelashes in the winter
Sparkling green eyes absorbing anything she saw
Her arms open to the unknown
Her mind open to the unthinkable
Her burdens flew away with the dandelion petals
The breeze crashed into her body
And kissed her bones
She soars with the birds
Floats with the clouds
And shines with the sun
She has finally been set free
Like dandelion petals
Aimlessly floating
Searching for a new adventure.

I love the way you have explored the subject and that is beyond my imagination. My first day here on this site and you are the first one I read. It means there is big challenge here and I am just happy to read your poem.
