PrologueA Chapter by Sylph DrakeWell WHAT IS A PROLOGUE?!?!
At first glance, simply a boy and a girl.
But no, nothing half so simple. The girl is drenched in cold, unfeeling death. The boy is frantic, though he knows nothing of her beyond the knowledge that she needs to live if the rest are to have a chance. She refuses to revive, unknowingly nearly destroying those the boy loves. But he won't let her. Because he isn't human, there is still something to be done. "They need you more than they need me." he says. And suddenly, she lives, while he fades into oblivion © 2010 Sylph Drake |
