The call of a wolf

The call of a wolf

A Poem by Blessed_Angel

We are Wolves.
Brave strong and majestic,
We laugh we cry,
We feel pain and we die.

We are alive,
The calls we make fill the skies
When we grieve for the one that dies,
We are Wolves.

Running through the land,
as fast as we can,
Felling the wind on our face,
this is an amazing place.

Some may say we are mean,
and we do not deserve to live,
but in this world filled with green,
We can not be mean.

We Are Wolves,
The ones who call to the heavens,
The ones who sometimes scare,
but we do not mean to scare.

You might not think of us as equals ,
but that is ok,
because we know a different way.

We Are Wolves!

The wolves have no equal. A man with a gun can overcome a wolf. A 120 pound wolf will destroy a common and defenseless person. The animals of nature are born with positive and strong senses. I like the ending to a outstanding poem.

A great job with this poem. You gave me a new perspective for them... But, still, if I see one, I will try to over power it so that it doesn't kill me. I see them as kinder creatures now that are misunderstood, though. A wonderful poem and keep on writing!

Great job on this one, it makes wolves sound harmless, but still startling at the same time. Not to demote this poem or anything, but just in my opinion, the flow is ruined by the fourth stanza. I don't know, when I read it aloud, I always struggle with that part, and that kind of ruins a flow. Despite that, great poem!
