9/11 tribute "10 years"

A Poem by Blessed_Angel

The talents of a young child is lost
but yet not forgotten.

The love of a father is lost
but yet still not forgotten.

The memory of that tragedy is lost
but will never be forgotten.

The memories of those who lost their lives
ten years ago today will never be forgotten.

Take your hands in one another
and acknowledge the lives that were lost
but not forgotten.

Even though lives were taken
on that same day a life was given.

No madder how bad things get,
or how bad i might get,
remember those people who lost their lives.

But also remember the ones who were given life,
Because life will all ways be given.
even in the darkest hours.

Well done! If nothing else this tragedy did...it brought the country closer together. Thank you for sharing. Keep on penning.

Too many people lost to hate and violence. Everyday people are dying in war, of hunger and are homeless. I pray we learn one day. Every act good or bad create a wave. We need more good people. Race, religion and belief are excuse for hateful people. I hope and pray the world stop the hate. 9-11 brought this world to a bad place. Can we repair the hate and fear. We need to remember the people lost at 9-11 and the Soldiers dying in foreign lands waiting for the end of this foolishness. Thank you for the excellent poem.
