Father Son Bond

wrote this about how my son changed my life and turned me into a better man, its more like an letter to my son but in poem form

From the first time I laid eyes on you I loved you,

From the first time I held you, you became a part of me,

not just as my child but my life.

 

When you cried daddy was there to dry your tears,

and comforting you from all your fears,

From thatd ay I knew all this is real,

From that day I knew my life has changed.

 

From that sat I knew I had to maintain focus,

From that day I heard your first words, your first steps,

That day I heard you call me da'da tears came to my eyes,

That day all my dreams became no more and became yours.

 

That day I became A MAN A FATHER, so for that my child I thank you, for my life is priceless without you.

this is awsome. I love it. you said this to your son in a beautiful and toching way. I know exactly what you mean, once a child call you dada, well that is the first word they say. a fathers bond to his son is very special, only dada can make him out of a man, and that is what he will never ever forget. keep it up, good write.
