A Marriage Bond

I wrote this for a friend at his wedding

From the day we met I fell for you,
From the day I held your hand I felt brand new,
The day I place the wedding ring your hand I knew you were my true love,
From the day I said I do was the day i knew our love was true,
Now it's no more me, now its a bond between us and our child that we are about to receive into this world,
A bond so strong nothing can break it,
Still til this day we wear our vails proudly and strong and i am proud to say I love you,
So Here we are mind, heart, and soul joined as one,
By faith and love we shall live together for enterity until the day I close my eyes and yet promise me you will keep our love alive,

For I will be shinning down on you from the pearly gates of heaven watching and still loving you
