![]() Pull The TriggerA Poem by Erika JonesI've been screaming for hours. Isn't there anyone around to hear me? I know I'm not alone. I hear voices in the other room. Why can't they hear me? Why won't they hear me? Why won't they come see what's wrong? Why won't they come and help? Is it something I've done? What could I've done? Is it something I've said? What could I've said? All I asked for was a little help; Someone to hold. Someone to hold me back. Someone to notice me Someone to acknowledge that I'm alive. But they refuse to hear my cries. My screams that show that I'm alive. That I'm becoming close to doing nothing but pull the trigger. © 2012 Erika JonesReviews
