We Are All The SameA Poem by Erika JonesWe all scream We all bleed We all have tears to cry So why are others [so] different from you?
We all have voices We all have choices We all have places we see ourselves go So why are others [so] different from you?
We all have dreams We all have nightmares We all So why are others [so] different from you?
We all feel pain We all feel love We all feel sadness So why are others [so] different from you?
We all have something in common We all have something to believe in We all have some place that we want to call a home So why are others [so] different from you?
We all have faith We all have hope We all have wishes just like all of you So why are others [so] different from you?
Why are we different from you? Because I know deep down inside [we are] Something you can never change, no matter what you say Because © 2012 Erika JonesAuthor's Note
