Ferris Wheel

Ferris Wheel

A Poem by BleedMyHeartOut

Ever gone on a ferris wheel terrified out of your mind?

Everything's okay until you start to get close to the top.

You start to get nervous, so someone holds your hand

And tells you everything's going to be alright.

He tells you to trust him.

You do.

Then you reach the top,

And are no longer nervous.

You finally believe that everything's perfect.

Until he pushes you off.
