Silence

Silence

A Poem by BleedMyHeartOut

Here I am, in my vulnerable remains

Go ahead and judge me

As I aim for the veins.

How the insults help, I have yet to see.

Here is all of the blood I continue to shed,

Go ahead and tell me that it isn't pure.

Here are all of the tears that I cried alone at night in my bed

Go ahead and tell me I haven't had much to endure.

And here is all the sweat from every single nightmare

Go ahead and tell me that sleep is what I need.

People never really are aware

Of the silent reaction to their deed.
