My Necessary Sweet Passion

A short poem on the necessary sweet passion in life.

You are the light in my life,

You are the love of my life, 

You have the looks of an angel,

And every time I see you my heart is in danger.

 

You are crafted to perfection,

You are my only seduction,

My undying love for you will have negative repercussions,

But being without you is out of the question.

 

There is no need for discussion,

You are the beat of my percussion,

Your feel is as smooth as lotion,

Tasting you on my lips is my only notion.

 

The men in the relationship always ask for some sugar,

But you give me sugar without any vigor,

You are the gun and you are the trigger,

Without you by my side I'll only get sicker.

 

My parents said let's talk about this obsession,

But I told them you're my necessary sweet passion,

After all, you are no ordinary cake,

You are my extraordinary caramel cheesecake.
