Glacier Glade

Glacier Glade

A Poem by Sad Poet

“Glacier Glade”

I spend my days in Glacier Glade

In this place, love seems to fade

The ice melts a little at a time and as it melts I begin to see it’s cruelest crime

I peer through gleaming, drippy ice to catch a glimpse of what I thought would be quite nice

But as I peek, I see myself, dead and alone

It is now that I know ice cannot love, it is simply frozen stone

Where has the beauty of my sweet glacier gone?
