Why?

Why?

A Poem by Sad Poet

“Why?”

Why are things the way they are?

How do you sleep knowing there are still questions, with answers so far?

You don’t even bother trying to answer them; you put curiosity behind bars in exchange for an existence simple, without a single worry of mind, and I wonder are there any more of my curious kind?

Kind of a short poem, but I still welcome any advice or criticism.

A nice piece of writing....

I am not a fan of acrostic poetry, but the simplicity of your structural choice is outweighed by the depth of thought in your words.

A very interesting theme to ponder; especially in these modern days where all information is so easily accessible. Genuine curiosity and the pursuit of knowledge has become very streamlined and increasingly rare.

A very short piece, but a thought-provoking one at that. Nicely done.

This is truly an eye-opener, because it captivates me to actually ponder over all the unanswered questions that I've allowed myself to forget.

I like how you've written it in the letters of W.H.Y. Very thought provoking. One of those questions we ask ourselves in the quietness of nighttime just before sleep and then it's stored in our subconscious for another time.
Really lovely poem. I liked very much :)
