My almost forgotten memories.

My almost forgotten memories.

A Poem by Beyond December

As I Lay here

Your voice is clear as day

Memories that I shall cherrish

I see your face

It's oh-so perfect

Just as i remember

But no sooner than you appear

Your voice starts to fade

Soon I can't hear you

As your face start to go black

I start to cry

I cant see you anymore

Why did you leave me here

Left with emptyness

My memory fades away

Soon the room starts spinning

Colors start to blend

Sounds collide together

But then I see the truth

In all your words you said

That reality isn't real

Soon I see myself

Layn so peacefully

As Im standing above me

I am my perfect self

Dressed in white

Glowing in the dark

I no longer see myself

I am in darkness

Walking towards that oh so fimaliar door

Its red

as red as i can rember

Your front door

I walk through

A see youthere standing

I reach for you and your gone

Just like that

But I realize im In the feilds

I see my destination

Eden

The tree is there

with its golden fruit

Soon I get there

i decide to go

I needed something

Purity

So I go to the next door

but to get there is terrifying

The grass becomes thicker

Then the plants reach out

Everything is darker

I walk through the green door

I see the small pond

and its flowers

I drink from it

and I eat a pettal

I feel lighter

I am now purified

All of a sudden Im back in my room

Standing above me

I lay down

exactly how i was

then I wake

It was like a dream

but the memories are back

clear as day

soon you will be back

my love

i shall wait.
