The Ocean bends the LightA Poem by BlankCypherThe deep azure water leaves a pure tearstain, receding from the lonely sand. Slowly cheered by the arid sun, giving heart to its sadness. The forlorn ocean assaulted by all manner of inhumanities. Still on the surface, bombarded by the light. Stealing away the sting and replacing it with solemn beauty. Even in the deepest darkness of the depths themselves, the denizens, cast their own light to illuminate their lives to a survivable limbo. The light is bent and broken, but never taken away.
