Disassociation 73

Disassociation 73

A Poem by BlankCypher

A blank slate,
the broken traitor,
 awaits his fate.

Pale skin glowing with the fear
of Death.

How to overcome this?

Disassociate.
Forgetting all that you feel
is the only way to survive in here.

We are all processed by the system,
but how do we contain it if not by ourselves.

The grimness of Death's approach really adds a sense of urgency to the human reaction you're presumably talking about. I like it.
