Symbiosis

In this hypnotic gaze,
    the solitary figure stands.
Lost within the depths of the world.
Frozen in place by its touch.

It is a day of reckoning for some,
   Retribution for many more.
But all these are connected,
Intertwined by the bonds of light and Darkness.
