Silver Sheets of Rain

Silver Sheets of Rain

A Poem by BlankCypher
"

Slightly more graphic than my usual stuff.

"
As the sharp droplets pierce
my rotting skin,
I decompose.

Sheets of icy silver break,
over my oozing heart,
I desensitize.

The rain just falls, cutting through,
my worm-eaten cadaver.
I die.

Only the sweet embrace,
of my broken mind.

Infests my afterlife.

Despite comma and a period issue (Whoops, I forgot) I mean yeah great poem. ha Seriously, this is graphic in a macabre way but I like it, especially the end. It's almost like saying in my death, I don't feel bad because of the reminders I've taken with me. Nice poem.
