For the Love of Writing

For the Love of Writing

A Poem by A.B.
"

This is just a random little something that I wrote for pure enjoyment.

"
I write because I need to;
Though I may not be worth a read
I've never been much of a talker;
Antisocial, is what they entitle me
I write to express myself;
Though I may choose all the wrong words
(But you should hear me talk;
it's even worse)
Through writing, I get my point across;
It is how I am truly heard
I write for the love of writing;
To talk, instead of write, that's just absurd
Would anyone concur?

Poem also about the me. You describe what I feel and live. This longing for another soul. And also my dificulties to get someone attention. Thanks so much.

We live in an ocean of humanity all talking at the same time. Writers shout to be heard over the din. Some writers are louder than others. We call them the greats: Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Hemingway, Dillard, etc. But we're all writers trying to be great. Trying to be heard.

I completely agree with this, we write for the love of writing, we may not write great things or that stands out but we definitely write our hearts and minds and this is what matters... This is a very true write and I really enjoyed the message you gave here...

Sincerely
Dhiman
