Little sister please, don't fall away

My sister, my sister, my cherished friend
You have to see that you are
Something so beautiful with those bright eyes
Your hair blows in the wind, lifted by prayers
Of all the true gentlemen who wished you were their love
They don't fall into the traps of Madison Ave and Hollywood
They want something real, someone true
Little sister can't you see, their someone is you

Sister, open your eyes and see
That you just need to live happy and well
Take your time, and enjoy
Be cautious and learn when to throw it to the wind

Thanks for the kind words! I don't have an actual blood sister, but I have friends that are just as close. I think we're so in a rush these days, and we seem to try and make people grow up so fast, especially with girls in our society. We need to just slow things down a bit, let time go at a manageable pace.
