Tiger/Tigress and their Lambs

Tiger/Tigress and their Lambs

A Poem by Blake Q Hatfield
"

Nothing to do with tiger's blood

"
I need to feast upon the flesh
Energized  by the bones of another
The sweet meat of desperation
The delectable meat of infatuation
I feed off of you as you feed into me

Nothing is tastier than a true heart
So pure and loving in it's intent
The sap melting with each utterance
Of my careful steps and misleading eyes
Hidden behind hollow reeds made of false promises
You'll fall before you see past them

My oh my, you are a creature most magnificent
The tenderness so sweet and ideal
For the feast I shall have
Upon the very bones who's heart is already in my grasp
It's almost too easy, too humorous
How you'll never notice my predatory ways
Until I've consumed you down to your very soul

Smile and prance with joy little lamb
Feel that rush of happiness
Soon it will be a distant memory
After I've had my fill
You'll be nothing
But broken bones and torn heart
