She said go
But all I said...
She said no
But all I said was...
She said go
I guess I should have never said...

All those things in my heart
Wrote her all those song on my guitar
Gave her my poetry from the depths of my soul
Told her all those true emotions turned sour
I guess some wishes were never meant to be

I reached out, but
She waived my gestures away
I tried to figure out why, but
She just turned away
I need to let things fall away, but
Sometimes the heart doesn't see it that way

And in the end I need to say
No to my heart and move on to another day
Find my true love, the other part of my soul
But easier said than done
When things are left unresolved and unsaid
When she said go, and left a hole in my heart
