Anticipated Kiss

Anticipating this
Gentle and sweet kiss
Touching my soul
Making me feel whole again
Looking into you pretty, warm eyes
Finding a serene soul
Seeing everything I always wanted

In that moment in time I think
I've never been so close to heaven
Peering into the pearly gates
Of the paradise my heart longs for
A gentle stroke of my cheek
My arms wrapped around you
As your smile melts away all the cold of this world
And brings to life the fire in my soul
All I could ever want is in that moment, in your kiss

What is the world, but chaos in control
The strange is common place, normality a relative thing
But we each have a common strand, a common part
We love and live with a heart beating out a call
We want to be loved, to feel happiness
And when all is said and done
We hope to find that one
With sweet and tender love upon their lips
A pull that makes us anticipate that kiss
That will make this life feel whole
