X+Y=1A Poem by Blake Q HatfieldMy attempt at being mathematically clever with a poem about love
When X+Y=1
And X=Y Where X was 1, and Y was 1 But when combined together as one X+Y=1 If ever X or Y were to be divided By loss of value or another integer The equation become last and invalid And the only solution you get Is that solitary "i," a negative root of complication And nothing is more solitary than "i" X and Y have their own destinations Going upward and forward But when they combine in that prime equation The solution slope skyrockets to infinite heights With a limit that can't be defined In all the world Nothing else is more true Then the prime equation X+Y=1 And when kept unchanged and untainted X will always be equal to Y And Y will always compliment X And X+Y=1 will always be true © 2010 Blake Q Hatfield |
