My Love (Forever and a Day)

Have I told you how much I loved you day
The way you eyes bring sunshine to the day
When you smile all the clouds drift away
And if never say another word this day
I want you know I'll love you forever, forever and a day

There's something about you I just can't explain
Magic becomes as real as the science we try to explain
The air smell of the sweetest things of memory
And the wind feels like the warmest hug you'd ever received
But of all this mystery, I know one thing is true
My love for you will last longer than seas, trees, and the sky so blue
It shall be a love lasting forever, forever and a day

When I'm down I can look up to see you shinning on me
When the world is cold, you are the warm cup of tea
Your soft skin, just a touch could heal the worse tragedy
The flow of you hair can set the beast inside at ease
You are sweet serenity that I shall love forever, forever and a day

And when my time comes for me to venture through those pearly gates
I shall say to St Peter that this place will pale too I have been
When I'm you my love, my soul mate and friend
And St Peter will look with a knowing smile and say
You found God's love in another, you found the way
She gave mortals the ability to love forever, forever and day
Two should connected for all time
And when her time comes, she be by your side
So you can take saying to reality
To love forever, forever and a day
