Stone Philosopher

Stone Philosopher

A Poem by Blake Q Hatfield

And you're a-
Long way from the path
Trying to find what you had
In your mind from the breach of your soul
The things that you wanna hold
But you can't hold on to the lows from the past
Times that you couldn't laugh
Trying to look from the past
The worlds not as good without the laughter
The last time you'll ever find
The world is yours
So don't spend all your time on the borderline
Just walk away with your crazy eyes
Just worry about what you can do
To make the world of tommorrow in your mind
Don't worry things will be alright
If you strive to be alive and free
Follow your path
It'll be a blast

I wrote this almost a decade ago. Not sure what to say about it, but it is what it is.

Memories are so precious, yet some can feel like death. It's so hard at times
to let the past go, to live, breathe. It would be easier if we could wash them away,
never remembering, yet the past is what makes us for the future. Inspiring read...AD
