Valentine Blue

Valentine Blue

A Poem by Blake Q Hatfield

I don’t have anybody to love
I don’t have anyone to call my love
I’m just a lonely son of a gun

I’m tired of being alone
I just want someone there when I come home
I need a little piece of mind in anyone

I’m just so alone
No body calling me up on the phone
I just need some one to understand
Not just some one to hold my hand
I need a love not a one night lie
Can some one help me because inside I’m gonna die

Saint Valentine where did you go
Cupid where are your lovely arrows
Where are you, the mystics of love

I’m a bleeding heart ‘cause I’m crying inside
I’m a fool because I care a little bit more
And I’m a looser for being this way
But sometimes I just don’t give a damn anymore

My Valentine’s are all blue
There’s me, but no one else is around
I’m feeling blue, feeling down
Valentine of blue, and don’t care anymore
Closing the window in hopes someone will open a door
