Happy birthday baby
When ya coming home
Oh happy birthday honey
When ya gonna come home

You have me here
Full of love and wonderin'
Why'd you have to go
Off with those former lovers
Instead of home

Well this ain't Texas
You should have left them far behind
Why do you have to be so cruel
On day we should be together
In any kind of weather
But with you storming out
It fills my sky with grey clouds
It pours, misery into my heart

Oh honey,
Lets make the world bright
It's never good to fight
My heart is here broken
And you to blame with the hammer in hand
Leaving the debris in confusion
So come home baby
And help me mend
Happy birthday baby
Love is here
So won't you leave the past behind
and come home
