I went to the counter
A smile on my face
A look without a care
I handed her my card and she asked
"Where would you like to go"
I said "destination anywhere"
She looked at me with a puzzled and curious stare
Saying "sir you have to be going somewhere
We cannot just book to somewhere unkown
A course, a and begining and end, a somewhere
Places where we can draw a line"
I told her I'm not looking to go just anywhere
I just want an excape from the rigid 9 to life
I just want more than a biweekly validation
I want to look and see some inspiration
A place of love and relaxation
A destination to anywhere but here and now
She began to understand what I've been saying
Now taking a moment to look into my weary eyes
Beyond her need to follow the line
With a smile and hesitant voice she said
"I don't know where your destination will be
The world is anywhere and nowhere at the same time
Full of places that are wonderful and mondane
We have fears, hopes, dreams, and tragedy
Paradice to some is worthless to others
It's all about what we feel in our hearts
Our destination is something that always revolves around love"
I don't why I went to that counter
I don't where I intended to go
But I guess I found my answer in an unexpected place
The destination we always seek is somewhere in our hearts
Nothing concrete can really be anything more without the pull of it
I smiled at the cashire and took my ticket
Where I will go, only she knows
Where I'll eventually be, only my heart can see
A destination anywhere that love leads
