A poem I wrote about a freind that was feelin' down, and kinda my response to cheer her up

hey there
you with the pretty blonde hair
you gotta smile just a little more
for you are loved
and your friends all agree
that you are something worth more than gold
beyond the value of platinum and diamonds
because of your beauty
a two fold beauty

and as i go along
i get a song stuck in my head
it brings me beautiful thoughts of you
and how i wish i was there
to sit amongst the court of your friends
and the souls who wish you well
for you are the queen of our hearts

and when the sun rises
another day begins
we thanked God for things in our nightly prayers
and looked for the wishes we hoped for in the day
when our friends smile upon us
we know that wishes come true
how can anything else be so pure

we'll give you all the love we can make true
we'll give you all the energy from our life
so long as you're there
just to be beautiful and be loved
for nothing else matters in the world

so when the world gets you down
we'll lift you with angel wings
when you begin to tear
we will turn the rain into rainbows
anything to make you smile
because it's what we do
as we give out the love
like the love we got from you
