Sharing Hope's Message

Hope is the thing that makes life worth living

And when you're feelin' down
The whole world collapsing all around
Don't worry my dear friend
Don't worry 'cause I'll help you mend and make amends

And when the worlds seems too much
I'll be there ready to help you stay in touch
With a message of Hope
With the desire to go on and win
With the will to live all over again

And I bite my tongue
When I worry about the things I've done
And divert my eyes right down to the ground
'Cause I can't seem to hold my head high
I can't seem to get out of this rut
But then I turn to a friend called Hope
She tells me things will be ok
And this is what I must say
This is what I must do
I must survive and share her message with you
She says

When the world seems so dark and grey
I'll be a light for you
When your problems keep you from rising above
I shall lift you and carry you home
I shall be your comfort from above
I will show you God's love
And I'll help you be fine

We are all charged with these
Trials and tribulations
We have those things that haunt our days and night
But we must go on, we must live on
We have to help Hope, and share her message with the world
We have believe there something more than the pain we feel
We have to know that love and happiness are real
In a kind word from a stranger
In the light of a caring friend's eyes
In the consoling embrace in darkest of times
In the relationships we forge through life
It's hidden there, waiting to be found
It's Hope, its love, it's a reason to go on
