This one I wrote years ago. I'm a firm believer that race is the most idiotic concept ever invented, at the least top 10. I have no problem with people celebrating uniqueness, heritage, but don't let it be your ultimate point of personal reference. Acend

Look at me through the mirror
I am a man indifferent from what you are
I am what you fear
I have joined the human race
I have become part of the true race

You scream injustice, injustice
You say you'd bleed for equality
But still you separate yourself
From those that are not like you
From those that separate from the picture of your truth
From anyone and everyone
Because you're better than that

I see all of you
The children of the earth
Protector and destroyer of the family way
Can't you accept what you think can be false
You're preconceived lies will destroy you
You're preconceived truth will mislead you

Does it matter if the world knows your closeted secrets
Does everything have to be obscene and offensive
Do you have to parade around and promote your difference
What are you really fighting for

Clash after clash
You're a revolutionary without a clue
Nothing can be told to you
Kill unity and togetherness
Because you're just so special
And everyone else has to be your second class fan

You're a race of one
A race within a race
A race so pure and so special
It must be celebrated
Get over it, race is for the lost
Become human and be found
Because it's what you are inside that makes you special
