Hello, Hello

Hello, Hello

A Poem by Blake Q Hatfield

I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life
And she said hello, hello
I didn’t know where I wanted to go
And she said hello, hello

I look back at the times
Before she came into my life
The waters ran still
And the flowers never bloomed
The lights never shined in my room
I was out, I was down
My face pointed to the ground
And just when I thought the world would fall

And then she said hello, hello
Oh hello, hello
She said hello, hello

I didn’t know what I wanted
Didn’t know what to say
My life had been so down
Never thought things would turn around

And on the day I thought there would be
Something better, something more
I began to loose a little hope
But then she said hello, hello
She said hello, hello

Well could it have been fate
Something so sincerely divine
A face so beautiful and so kind
She drove away the clouds
She healed the surface wounds
And worked down to the soul

As she took her hands
Put them on my head
And lifted it up to the stars
With the look in her eyes
The sparkle in her smile
She began to say hello, hello
All she said was hello, hello

I look back at the time
Don’t know if she meant
What I think she said
Can’t get it outta my mind, outta my head
And all it was, was hello, hello
A simple and complex hello, hello

She said hello, hello

This is so touching.
For Crist sake man, lose the ''hello, hello'' , it's so childish and annoing. You should try to mention HI once in a poem, and no more helloz .

Great write.

This sounds as if it really came straight from my husband's mouth....not that i am anything special but it is what he says all the time. Our marriage saved him....anyway!!! I like your technique and thank you for entering my Inspiration contest.
