Bethy Lee

Bethy Lee

A Poem by Blake Q Hatfield
"

I had a dream about this girl about a year ago, and it was the most amazing dream. I wrote down the description, and then later a poem about it.

"

I dreamed of her last night
Created from the Chubby Hubby ice cream dream
She was something out of fantasy
A sweet and sugary dream
One I wish I did not leave behind
In the realm of my mind

And we flew high above the sky
In a helicopter limo ride
We laughed and talked as in innocent times
The world was so small and beautiful below
The cares of our world fading like the daylight

And wondered where she came from
Had she been sent here by the angels
Someone who could see the quality I could not see
To lead me into tomorrow with her eyes
And reassure me with her smile
If I could hold her forever
I would finally feel my life is complete

If only you weren't a dream
My darling so beautiful and true
Bethy Lee won't you marry me
Leave the realm of my dreams and become more than fantasy
And make me feel whole and complete
