Judgemental

Judgemental

A Poem by Blake McGarrah
"

Think before you do

"
Who are we to judge? As a person, as a race, as a group or as a joke to make ourselves feel better. Because we're no one to ourselves we feel low down and depressed feel like if we don't make fun of others then we wont meet the standards of others. We don't take anyone elses feelings into account just how much reputation we can gain. Trying to count it out like a currency but the sad truth is we're blind to what we do. I've played the bully and the victim, neither side too bright. Think one sides better than the other well then you're in for a fright. No one thinks about the kid who keeps to himself, doesn't talk to others so how could he offend anyone? But it doesn't matter you see a "flaw" but its just a difference. You bully him without thinking what could ever come from it. What if he kills himself? How would you feel? What if he shoots up a school? How would you deal with that? What if he had more problems than your own low self esteem? Maybe he's a teen with no parents, no love from anyone, and all he wants is a friend. But there's people like you who bully him and people who ignore him or just say they're cooler than him. Think about the consequences, forget yourself for one day your needs don't always come first. So think about what you say and do before someone gets hurt.
