 Eating A Bluebell

Eating A Bluebell

A Poem by Blake Fodor

if you could
eat the blue
of a bluebell
what would
it taste like
i wonder

tasteless

you cannot
eat the blue
of a bluebell

don't invent
forces to
satisfy your
hunger

I once heard of someone who claimed they could taste color. They would blindly eat M&Ms and say what color they were. I forget where I saw that, but this made me think of it.

I find this to be quite brilliant and very deep.

Wow - there's a fascinating concept, and I think you have hit on a problem we have in this world... we try to force what cannot be forced, create problems so that we can arrogantly provide solutions... This has me thinking, Blake - which makes it a great poem!
