Death Before Dying

Death Before Dying

Lyrics to my song called "death Before Dying" Scroll to the bottom of the page to watch the music video I made for it.

"
Cautious blasphemy in my eyes
I'm so lost, I want to die
Feel my heart beat on the floor
I don't want it to beat anymore
The dead do dance when they're alone
The worst kind of pain I've ever known
Hidden behind a false display
So you won't also feel this way

Tangled in memories and thoughts
It's getting my mind tied up in knots
I'm not really alive you see
The dead inside is the real me
Now I lie tattered and torn
Wishing that I was never born
Now I leave with one thing to say
I hope that you never feel this way

This is a great poem and I really enjoyed reading it. I can relate to it because I've felt this way a lot. I like the whole thing. Thanks for sharing. :)

This is a great poem. It is descriptive and you can actually put yourself in the narrator's shoes. The flow is easy to follow and the sadness of this piece overwhelms me as I am reading it. The hopelessness is shown clearly and the last line is a superb way to end the poem.
