As The People's PrinceA Poem by BlackPrinceLike Princess Diana
As The People's Prince, eyes and ears of the street,
here to defend the lives and fears of the weak, driven by love and truth for humanity since we're all concerned for democracy, I'll speak what the mute assign me to speak: curse leaders who choose who'll live and die next week, with no food for the poor or bed for the sick! Why fear my Ghetto Aristocracy as the People's Prince accountable to them in works beyond speech? Since their taxes feed us and their kids must eat, you, so-called presidents, pope and royalty placed there by the residents' hope and loyalty, what just plan do you draw for me that's concrete, as The People's Prince? © 2019 BlackPrinceAuthor's Note
