I, Money, Refuse The CrownA Poem by BlackPrincemoney don't make us; we make moneyI, money, refuse the crown that between rich and poor builds a gap, a prize plunging Man's children deep in guns and drugs crime on the street. Man's selfish mind laid a death-trap, though he names me as king of his act of cold greed besieging his heart. I shed tears, and in truth I speak: I, Money, refuse the crown that views Man's life less than a rat, a sin, a thought at which I spat; for man's life is sacred, not cheap. In bloodshed Man fans hell-fire's heat, though I'm used as excuse; in fact I, Money, refuse the crown! © 2018 BlackPrinceReviews
