ParalyzedA Poem by Ethale CaptorParalyzed in the time I wished on a dying star for.On the ground I lay Writhing alone in pain Wondering, of all, why I was condemned to die
My self undoing Myself I'm ruining I deal out despise That later lingers in their eyes
I play rejection Then receive correction Because the ones for which I yearn Always reject me in return
Contradictory? True blasphemy? Perhaps misfortune? Bad luck just coursing
Through my heart and veins Making me insane Makes me wonder why I am still alive
I am still alive With life passing me by As I watch and see No one cares about me
No one will ever realize That I am completely paralyzed By a world dilapidated That world which I've created © 2012 Ethale CaptorAuthor's Note
