![]() Little GirlA Poem by Ethale Captor![]() It was about time, she has had enough.![]() Oh, what have you done little girl? Here the walls bleed red from splatter Even when they ran and hid from you In the end it did not matter
Red drips from you and forms little roses Roses that ripple with each new drop Your eyes are fixed on the deed you've done You mind swirled with red sweetness like a lollipop
The moonlight glints on the knife in your hand And reflects mutilates heaps of crimson The things were once human beings But now lie silent in in your redemption
"Mommy, Daddy, why won't you speak? Baby brother, look up at me. Why won't you breath or blink? Why are you still staring at me?"
A music box plays softly in the corner As your petrified eyes lie dead in your skull Your heart is thudding with fear and contentment Your mind is empty but you room is full
Full with blood and what's left of your birthday The clock strikes midnight, your pain is gone You can still hear their voices from earlier Singing you the birthday song
You've only turned a mere 5 years old And your little heart had long since had enough Mommy and Daddy are gone forever now You smile because you will be tough
Oh, what have you done little girl? The knife falls to the floor with a thud Your suffering is over for good now Now all that's left is all this blood... © 2012 Ethale CaptorAuthor's Note
