Forgive MeA Poem by Ethale CaptorForgive and... Forget...?Forget and forgive Forget my deeds Forget my past Forgive me, please
I beg forgiveness For all my wrong I thought you were safe But it was me all along
I held you closer As you screamed in pain I thought I was helping But I drove you insane
That should be me Lying with no sound Down six feet under The rain sodden ground
I am so sorry This is all my fault I should have listened Instead of thought
Had I not held you Closer to me You would still be here For everyone to see
I held on so tightly So I would not see you go I accidentally choked you 'Cause you never told me "No"
You let me do this You let me hold on You saw it coming You were my pawn
This is my fault Forgive my bad deeds Please don't forget me Forgive me, please... © 2012 Ethale CaptorAuthor's Note
